NEET PG 2025 Exam Pattern: An Overview

Highlights of NEET PG 2025 Exam Pattern:

Exam Date and Mode:

  • Exam Date: To be announced
  • Mode of Examination: Computer-based Test (CBT)

Language of Examination:

  • The NEET PG 2025 exam will be conducted exclusively in English.

Exam Time Duration:

  • Candidates are allotted 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the NEET PG 2024 question paper.

Types of Questions and Marks Distribution:

  • NEET PG 2025 consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • The maximum marks for the entire exam are 800.
  • Each correct answer is awarded four marks.
  • For every incorrect attempt, one mark is deducted.

Total Number of Questions:

  • The NEET PG 2025 question paper comprises a total of 200 questions.

Section-wise Division:

  • The question paper is divided into three sections.
  • Candidates must answer a total of 200 multiple-choice questions.

Marking Scheme:

  • Negative marking is applicable in NEET PG 2025.
  • The marking scheme is as follows:
    • Correct Answer: +4 marks
    • Incorrect Answer: -1 mark
    • Unanswered: 0 marks

NEET PG Syllabus:

  • The syllabus includes Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical subjects from the MBBS curriculum.

Exam Day Schedule:

  • The NEET PG 2025 exam starts at 9:00 AM and concludes at 12:30 PM.

Questions for Review:

  • Candidates can mark any attempted or unattempted question for review during the examination.
  • There is an opportunity to review and answer the marked questions before the end of the exam.

Subject-wise Weightage:

  • Questions are constructed from the MBBS curriculum, and the subject-wise weightage is distributed as per the table below:

NEET PG Mock Test:

  • NBE releases a NEET PG 2024 mock test on the official website (nbe.edu.in) to help candidates become familiar with the exam pattern.
  • The mock test allows candidates to practice without requiring specific NEET PG 2024 login details.

NEET PG Result 2025:

  • The NEET PG 2024 result is announced on the official website in the form of a merit list.
  • The merit list includes the roll number, marks obtained (out of 800), and the All India Rank (AIR).
  • Qualified candidates are eligible for NEET PG 2025 counselling.
